Cadencewind let out a flowing chuckle like chimes in the breeze, dancing on thw wind. Tinkle tinkle. Giggle giggle. The small, youthful chortles were for no one reason, no one in particular. No one was even around, perhaps just the bubbles of joy that burst inside of her, pop pop, they went, and more giggles ran through her lips while her heart pumped exhilaration into the dancing air around her, legs pulsating into a lulling rythem until she found her cadence. There is was, and th young she-cat slipped into a state of trance, refreshing vertigo nipped at her conscious while her eyes took in nothing in particular, or everything in detail. With each heartbeat two paws slammed into the soft grassy ground. Another heartbeat, the pounding of a throbbing drum grew in her ear; her blood raced like a river through her veins. The erratic bursts of joyous laughter were fading quickly now, becoming less and less until she uttered no sound at all. It was only her and the earth, constantly beating against her paws now. Meditation, zen. Peace. The border neared, and Cadencewind was swung out of her reverie as the vile, sour scent of ShroudClan began to gnaw at her face, finding it's way into her scent glands until her delicate nose twitched and spasmed and sneezed. "Ugh." She uttered softly, carening into their territory for only a fraction heartbeat before swerving around and out again. Now was time for the big run. The daily one, her most favorite, the one that involved touching every border with a paw, as her goal. Circumnavigating the whole of BreezeClan's home until finding herself back at ShroudClan's disgusting odor, then racing back to camp in time for dawn patrol. What an exhilarating life, the thrill of the run was better than the thrill of the hutn or the kill, it was almost an addiction to her. Her passion, her grace. Cadencewind wasn't one to be called ugly, most thanks to her strange habit of morning runs, her frame was lithe and trim though her legs were long and muscular, giving a strong advantage in battle.
The dainty blue warrior danced along BreezeClan's borders for what seemed like an eternity, but not that of suffering. There was nothing she loved more than her clan and her running. Such good time to think, as anything and everything raced along her conscious as she raced along the moorland, it gave Cadencewind a time to contemplate, concentrate, reminisce. But now her beating paws slowed, if only a fraction of a heartbeat less than their normal beat, as the thick, husky scent of ShroudClan fogged up her senses once more, and by now they'd have scented her paws on their territory, if only for a second. Poor BreezeClan, it would be under seige in a matter of days. But they were strong, and they'd be ready as soon as Cadencewind got home to let them know. She felt better knowing this, but still guilty, why did that stupid clan of bullies have to be so sensitive? Toughies, they think they are. Ha! Her agile form slipped around a single tree and dove back into BreezeClan, dashing, faster than before, back home. Once more she slipped into a rythmic lull, like meditiation.
